School visit to Newtown College

Pupils from the senior classes have been visiting NPTC group to find out about courses on offer, talk to the tutors, have a tour of the departments and get a feel of what it is like to attend NPTC group. It was lovely to see some of our past pupils enjoying their learning at the college.

Makaton information

We have recently added some information about Makaton to the Parent Area of our website.

Makaton is the UK’s leading language programme for adults and children with learning or communication difficulties.

It is used by staff at Ysgol Cedewain with our pupils and can be used by all who share their lives, for example, parents and other family members, friends and carers, and education and health professionals.

Please take some time to look at the resources available.

Everyone enjoyed the hands-on approach to investigation and using their skills to predict and solve problems.
